Belinda and Lee welcome their first guests. Angela and Steve invite eight friends over to test-run their holiday business and Dick and Angel invite Tim and Krys over to their place.

Tim and Krys have their first gastronomic weekend, and the pressure is on to make sure it runs smoothly. Belinda and Lee are hosting their biggest event so far with music, dancing and a slap-up meal for paying guests from the surrounding towns and villages. However, it seems they might have underestimated the wine requirements of the British contingent. Dick Strawbridge visits Angela and Steve to lend a hand with a precariously dislodged beam holding up the roof of one of their chateau turrets.

Dick Strawbridge helps Lincolnshire couple Tim and Rebecca find their feet after leaving the UK to start a new life in a dilapidated 25-room chateau that has no plumbing.
